Lovable AI App builder

Recently, I have joined a startup group working on finding real-world solutions to 1 of the 17 UN Sustainability Goals. We have honed in on Goal #3, which aims to "ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages." Finding the core issue behind this is not possible without digging deeper into a specific topic of health that can lead to some proper digging. We saw that the heat waves in the Mission Valley area can lead to serious heat stroke or fainting, and I have witnessed it at SDSU football games. We decided to look at ways to map out routes for the coolest pockets for commuting or walking. A great way to visualize this idea was through this AI tool called Lovable, a Swedish vibe coding platform meant to realize ideas for apps, websites, plugins, etc. We give it the problem it will solve, the types of features it needs to include, the UX and UI layout we prefer, and it will create it within minutes. We found this to be a genius idea and would ramp up the creative process for the team. It begs the question, however, can we build this to integrate with spot temperature sensors to ensure we can create a real-time reading for users to see where to reroute? Will AI update it quicker? And, referring to my first blog, will AI be beneficial to this or hurt this idea in the long run? There are already environmental concerns about data centers using resources to heat up the environment. If we implement AI, we will only be adding to the heat that sits in inland San Diego. Ideally, we create this to adapt to our changing climate without directly affecting it anymore. Maybe the conversation to remove as much tech as possible from this will have to happen.
